Embodied Awareness: Meditation and Qigong

Overview
This half-day program is designed to enhance mindfulness through a combination of sitting meditation and an optional dynamic awareness practice. The program will encourage wakeful presence, clarity of emotion, and balance in both body and mind.

Qigong is the root practice of both Chinese medicine and most martial arts. Qigong is a foundational support practice for vipassana meditation, resulting in deepened awareness of the body, relaxation and calmness during movement, and attunement to the healing potential within.

EVERYONE IS WELCOME. Chairs are provided. Bring your own sitting cushion if you prefer to meditate sitting on the floor.
