Classes: Stress Reduction at Work: Overview

The Stress Reduction at Work program is an opportunity to bring the power of simple movement based stress reduction practices to the work place. This may include a one time, weekly, or a bi-weekly class.

A weekly one hour class may be immensely beneficial in bringing relaxation, stress reduction, and restoration to employees and co-workers. It may also aid in concentration, productivity, morale, as well as in building community through shared experience.

The movement practices are very easy, soft and gentle, ensuring that everyone can participate and benefit. Due of the gentle nature of these exercises, the chances of harm or injury are minimal, while the healing and rejuvenating benefits are abundantly clear.

The roots of these movement classes are in Chinese Medical Qigong, a branch of Traditional Chinese Medicine, with has a 5,000 year history of successful application.
